Belle, eine bekannte Schauspielerin, wird während eines Werbe-Events in aller Öffentlichkeit damit konfrontiert, dass ihr Verlobter sie mit anderen Frauen betrogen hat. Belle entschließt sich kurzerhand, in ihre frühere Heimat zu fahren, wo nun eigentlich zur Vorweihnachtszeit das „Santaland-Fest“ stattfinden soll. Doch das für die Gegend bedeutsame Event steht auf der Kippe, weil Gelder fehlen.
