World leaders under fire for ‘clear lack of courage’ in investigating COVID origins

Sky News Australia Sky News host Sharri Markson has criticised world leaders for their “clear lack of courage” in trying to determine the origins of COVID-19.
“This issue, more than any other, exposes how weak our world leaders have become that they can’t even stand up to China and say we do need a commission of inquiry, we do need an international investigation to find out what happened here?” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“It’s not just about justice for those people but it's about making sure another pandemic doesn’t happen again.”
Ms Markson also reveals how a US intelligence official linked to the World Health Organisation was involved in downplaying the lab leak theory during President Joe Biden’s probe into the virus origins.
The new documentary, ‘What Really Happened in Wuhan: The Next Chapter’, will air 8pm on Tuesday.
