BREXIT: Extension to Tariff Free Export of EVs Looking Unlikely

A Different Bias Rishi Sunak has been pushing for an extension to the grace period on rules of origin for electric vehicles, due to come into effect at the end of this year. But although there is support from some in the EU, lobbied by car manufacturers, there are others resisting, who think it will help attract EU investment to make sure the rules are kept as they are. This risks thousands of jobs in Britain.
