So basically Russian commanders on the ground save their a**es by reporting fake victories that get even more exaggerated by Konashenkov and the Russian propaganda machine; then the higher military command and Putin himself develop plans based on fake reports.. It leads to scarce artillery and aviation support in the areas that are believed to be already taken by Russians. As a result, Russians get more casualties, but Putin’s gang don’t really care, since they figured how to avoid paying them promised millions. The question is - will Russians ever wake up and see this whole situation as it is? We’ll see in 2024, I guess..
