Jenna Ortega in a recent actors on actors interview with Elle Fanning discussed the current state of female characters in movies, and they both agreed that they didn't like the woke strong female character and Jenna Ortega called it a boring 2 dimensional character. Disney is one of the major studios promoting female characters like this in Indiana Jones, and Star Wars and She-Hulk. I'm glad huge Hollywood actors like Jenna Ortega are calling it out as this could make a difference to the way Hollywood writes female characters in the future.
