Revelation 10:1-11 - Bittersweet Truth
“I took the little book out of the angels hand and ate it. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it my stomach became bitter!"
Knowing the truth – what will happen in the future – is a blessing and a curse. On the one hand it is amazing to read the Word and understand what is coming. It gives us perspective the events of this crazy world around us. That is sweet to the mouth. At the same time it is bitter when we realize the judgement that awaits those who reject Jesus.
