Beware bad teachings that go against what God says. Our lives should be founded on the Word of God, especially the Gospel which gives us life. Jesus lived, died, and rose again that we may have eternal life in him. Now that our lives stretch to eternity, how should we live? We should follow the Law God set in place for His creation. Although not everything we say comes right from the Bible, all our thoughts and actions should be guarded by God's Word. When we encounter created content in the world--religious and non-religious--we should be mindful of what it says. If it promotes ideas going against God, we should call it out and deny it. Then we can offer Christian-influenced content in its place.
