Elon Musk has announced plans to replace Twitter’s signature blue bird logo with a stylised X as part of his vision for transforming the 17-year-old service into an everything app. The tech billionaire has long talked about creating something to rival Tencent’s WeChat, the dominant chat app in China. WeChat is used to buy goods and services online, as well as access entertainment as well as for users to post updates and messages to their friends and contacts.
