These verses cover the resurrection of Jesus Christ, as reported in the Gospel of John. We will see Mary Magdalene at the empty tomb. We will see John and Peter at the empty tomb. We will see the very moving meeting of Mary with a man she thought was a Gardner, but as it turns out, it was the risen Christ. (Because of Jesus' reaction to Mary, some think he gave her a mild rebuke; this is discussed here.) We will see Jesus with the ten in the upper room (Judas and Thomas are not present). We will see the encounter of Doubting Thomas with the risen Christ and find out that he is not doubting at all. Finally, we will see the first giving of the Holy Spirit for indwelling and salvation. This chapter is loaded with wonderful reporting.
