russia destroyed the Kakhovka dam and Hydroelectric Power station in the night of the 6th of June, 2023. The initial claims, that they in fact destroyed it, were later retracted, when russia realised, what catastrophy they made. The russian controlled dam was destroyed by the russian army to hinder a possible Ukrainian amphibious advance from un-occupied Ukraine (Kherson city and left bank Kherson region.
Now the russian propaganda denies a lot of minute details, like the drowning of hundreds of animals in the Nova Kakhovka zoo. They even deny the very existence of it on live TV, but as I show: a simple google search debunks the russian lies.
