Samuel is a Year 10 student who started music at the age of 5. A DipABRSM (with distinction) violinist and pianist, he is a member of the Singapore National Youth Orchestra, the Cathedral Choir of the Risen Christ, and continues to run his student-led string ensemble, having performed for Singapore President, Mdm Halimah Yacob, Deputy Prime Minister, Youth Minister and numerous ambassadors. He has worked/performed with numerous notable musicians, including Ray Chen, TwoSetViolin, Kristin Lee, and Peter Stark, among others. He was presented with both the Junior Piano Excellent Gold Award and Junior Violin Excellent Gold Award by the Hong Kong International Music Festival and has performed on (inter)national stages and national television. Samuel enjoys playing the organ, singing in choirs, playing badminton, and swimming.
