Minnesota State trooper rescues fawn caught in fence

WKYC Channel 3 A Minnesota state trooper recently rescued a fawn that was trapped in a fence alongside a busy highway.
Trooper Mollie McClure was working on Interstate 94 near Avon on May 28 when she saw a female deer “pacing back and forth” near a fence next to the highway, according to a statement from the Minnesota State Patrol.
The mother deer was distressed because her fawn was trapped in the fence. Body-worn camera video shows McClure working to free the young fawn from the wire fence. She lifts it over the barbed wire and it runs away to reunite with its mother.
