As you guys know, we use the Aiper Scuba S1 Pro to vacuum the bottom of our pool and the Surfer S1 to skim the stuff at the top. If you guys have an outdoor pool like us then you have bugs, leaves and dirt both floating on the surface and gathering on the bottom. We put these two vacuums in the pool daily to keep it pristine and the amount of debris they pick up each day is daunting. Imagine just leaving all that in your pool? No thanks! These units are miraculous and make keeping the pool clean super easy, to the point that I don't want to ever be without them. That said, it's VERY important to maintain them. The pool, especially a salt water one, is a very tough environment to keep equipment in working order. Cleaning the salt water off the units each day when cleaning the debris from the filters is a good start. But arguably one of the most important things you can do is dry the ports and rubber seals off before plugging them in. Over time, if you don't keep these dry, corrosion could set in and you will have to make a warrantee call. KEEP THE PORTS DRY! Also, don't charge your units in a wet environment or where its sunny.
