My project "The Long February" (UA: Довгий лютий [Dowhiy Lutiy]) is about the experiences and stories of people who lived through the russian occupation in Bucha, Irpin and Borodianka and have to live with the memory today.
I interviewed 20 people, including: the woman who was shot by russian soldiers and then experienced an odyssey through Belarus to Germany; the volunteer of the Territorial Army in Irpin; the "last policeman" in Bucha; the owner of a cute café which was completely destroyed and many many more...
In this teaser, the choir of the St. Andrew Church of Bucha sings the hymn "Through the Fields of Ukraine walked the Mother of God". A member of the choir was also murdered by russian soldiers during the occupation.
This teaser shows only a small part of what I want to tell. The project will probably consist of a two-part documentary and several Youtube videos where the interviews will be shown in full length.

Mein Projekt »Der lange Februar« (UA: Довгий лютий [Dowhiy Lutiy]) befasst sich mit den Erlebnissen und Geschichten von Menschen, die die russische Besatzung in Butscha, Irpin und Borodianka erlebten und mit der Erinnerung heute leben müssen.
Ich habe 20 Menschen interviewt, unter anderem die Frau, die von russischen Soldaten angeschossen wurde und danach eine Odysee durch Belarus bis Deutschland erlebte; den Freiwilligen der Territorial Streitkräfte in Irpin; den „letzten Polizisten“ in Butscha; die Besitzerin eines niedlichen Cafés, das völlig zerstört wurde und vieles vieles mehr…
Im Teaser singt der Chor der St. Andrij Kirche aus Bucha. Auch ein Chormitglied wurde während der Besatzung von russischen Soldaten ermordet.
Dieser Teaser zeigt nur einen kleinen Teil dessen, was ich alles erzählen will. Das Projekt wird vermutlich aus einem zweiteiligen Dokumentarfilm und mehreren Youtube-Videos bestehen, wo die Interviews in Gesamtlänge zu sehen sein werden.
