For this outreach, we focused one week each in three cities: Cologne (Koln), Nuremburg (Nurnberg), and Bielefeld. In each, churches, Christian groups, and missionaries did the preparatory work to set us up in areas with communities of largely Muslim immigrants, refugees, and some longer term residents as well. This was a prayerfully prepared and well planned outreach.
There was one final leg in Wiesbaden which needed to be on a smaller scale. Only a couple from the team were able to continue onward to it. I had to return to work and could not participate in it.
Places we went to included open spaces at the entrances to major train stations; parks and squares in neighborhoods with many immigrants and refugees; major shopping (pedestrian) streets; and other areas where there was a confluence of a lot of foot traffic.
