This is a humorous video of my grandsons rollerblading. The beat of the Allman Brothers song, "No one to run with anymore", captures the freneticness of the boys rollerblading. As I watched the video and listened to the words of the song, I realized the nostalgic sadness of the lyrics of someone trying to recapture what can never be recapture again. It reminded me of the nostalgic feeling in the 1972 movie, "The summer of '42". The ending scene in this video is representative of what might be one of my 2 grandsons in the future recalling those fond long ago moments we see in the video.
