Ukraine Doubtful of New Russian Gas Transit Deal

Bloomberg Quicktake: Now Ukraine is skeptical about the possibility of reaching a new bilateral natural-gas transit deal with Russia next year because of the ongoing war between the countries, Ukraine’s Energy Minister German Galushchenko said. He also said it is now up to Europe to decide if a new deal with Russia is needed. Should the flows come to an end from 2025 on, Europe will need to rely even heavier on LNG and other supply sources.
