Washing a piece of clothing is an attempt to restore it to a state of cleanliness.
No more germs to cause us sickness or stains that could cause us shame. We could wear it with confidence and empowerment.
It's similar in the presence of God - one that washes away our sins and declares us free from condemnation. 🙌🏼
