Homa Bay boys and girls qualify for Talanta Hela finals

Kenya CitizenTV Homa Bay County has qualified both the boys' and girls' teams for the finals of the Talanta Hela football tournament at the Moi Nyeri Complex in Nyeri County.
Homa Bay walloped Uasin Gishu County 8-0 while Busia thrashed Machakos 3-0 in the girls’ semi-finals. Valencia Joy-Angela scored the opener after ten minutes in the first half. Lorna Wasike scored a double in the 29th and 76th minutes for the 3-0 win. Homa Bay boys blanked Kirinyaga 2-0 with dangerman Geoffrey Omondi scoring in each half in the 21st and 51st minutes. In the second semi-final, Uasin Gishu beat Nakuru 3-1. The finals will be played on Wednesday afternoon.
