Grand Canyon National Park Closes North Kaibab Trail following landslide

At Home In Wild Spaces Grand Canyon National Park has just announced the closure of the North Kaibab Trail between the North Kaibab Trailhead and Cottonwood Campground because of a rockslide and landslides making passaged dangerous for hikers.
As the essential rim to rim trail, rim to rim hikers will not be able to complete their journey until the park reopens the seven miles between the North Kaibab Trailhead and Cotton would campground on June 2, 2023.
