David Canterbury The Rope Compass, Here is a NEW one, although they say there is NOTHING New? I developed this from a study of the Rope Stretchers of Ancient Egypt that used a knotted rope and the Pythagorean Theory to Square buildings, using this same rope of 12 knots, with 12 additional markings to break it up into 15 degree increments it can now be used as an impromptu Compass for immediate direction finding.
While they say there is nothing NEW there are plenty of new ways to accomplish something if one puts his mind to it
