Money In The Bank Qualifiers! | WWE 2k23 Universe Mode
After the WWE completely Reset in WWE 2k22, and a FULL YEAR LATER, we are here! Vince McMahon decided to sell the company after being FORCED to leave by losing to Austin Theory at WrestleMania, and the NXT GM Rylo Meltzer decided to buy it BEFORE Head Booker Jake Pentagon (me) could get to it. (AKA, While i was having a WrestleMania match vs Sami Zayn) Jake appointed Rylo as NXT GM as a favor, but now, he's lost control from within. Rylo decided to leave Jake as the GM of RAW, and take over Smackdown for good!
THIS RAW EPISODE opens up with Drew McIntyre trying to get Bray Wyatt to FIGHT HIM...but is met with something potentially WORSE! We have a Womens MITB Qualifying Battle Royal as Sonya Deville, Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Zelina Vega, Mia Yim, Emma, Chelsea Green, and Alexa Bliss all battle it out! Chad Gable & Kurt Angle are seen training before their 1 on 1 match for the US Title at Money In The Bank! We have another qualifier as DIY Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa face off against Ricochet & Bronson Reed! GM Jake Pentagon is trying to make the last MITB Qualifier until MVP stops him..? Cameron Grimes attempts to FIRE Baron Corbin before he has a different idea...! Charlotte Flair defends the new Heritage Championship (Womens Midcard Title) against Katana Chance! (with Kayden Carter in her corner) The Street Profits get a STAGGERING offer backstage! Then we have a 6-Pack Challenge WWE Title #1 Contenders match with the winner facing Seth Rollins at Money In The Bank between Solo Sikoa, Bobby Lashley, Finn Balor, Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, and Logan Paul! WE STACKED TONIGHT BABY!
HOW THIS UNIVERSE MODE WORKS:
2k23 RULES
-2 GMs battle it out weekly to see who has the better show (Community Polls after each RAW/SD episode)
-Whoever is winning in the ratings/polls gets a little boost to their show (tbd later)
-No Stealing Talent (unless a stipulation/loan), and Trades can be made
-Whoever has the best show at the end of 2k23, wins...something
FROM THE RESET
-All Championships have been vacated, leaving each brand with a World, Midcard, Womens, and Tag Titles
-Every storyline from current day has been DROPPED, but you can't erase a superstar's history with one another
-Each Wrestler will have their Win / Loss Record tracked, with everyone having a clean slate 0-0 record.
-The Rosters will stay relatively the same from real life at the start, with little twists (No Released Talent)
-Videos will be sporadic from now on, I'm not promising a schedule.
This Universe Mode will be different then some of the others. I will be deciding who wins, I'm not gonna try to hide it, because you can see the pin screen and targeting thing. There will be 4 or 5 matches per episode, depending on the storylines going on. If there is anymore than 4, they will be edited down to not take too much time, I don't wanna make 30 minute videos here unless its a PPV. The matches will be mostly from the camera angle that WWE 2k22 Provides, with most of them using highlight reel for the finish or after the match for a custom cutscene. Expect the unexpected in this Universe Mode, and remember...to not take it too seriously.
