This is just sensationally good. On live national television and in front of a live studio audience, ten kids dance at high speed in a confined space and attempt crazy things such as jumping into the splits - all while some of them are wearing roller skates. Somehow, no-one breaks their ankle, and they go on to pull off one of their best routines ever. In one take, don't forget. I've nothing but admiration for all involved in this one, but I'm 100% convinced that this would never even get past the ideas stage these days. In fact, there are probably laws against it now.
The song, in case you're wondering, is actually called Bite Your Lip (Get Up and Dance!) - I wasn't urging you to get up and dance in the title, but whatever floats your boat. It was originally by Elton John, and this rendition comes from 7th March 1986.
