NEWS9 live Nestlé Controversy: After an investigative report highlighted that Nestlé’s baby-food products, which are sold in low-income countries like India, have added sugar content, the company has issued a clarification.
It said that the food formulation for children below 18 months is done on a global basis. It added that FSSAI already permits 13.6 grams of added sugar per 100 grams of feed, and that Nestlé usage of added sugar is within permissible limits.
