Here is "Hand Kisser" from my self-titled album, performed live in Bannerman Brewing Co's event space.
Hand Kisser opens a portal to my childhood, like an open window inviting you to glimpse at the relationship I had with my grandmother Julieta back in Portugal. An homage to this favourite from whom I learned how to use my hands and senses, with skill, patience and ability through many crafts and cooking, from whom I learned old and fancy words (in Portuguese) through riddle, story and tale. From whom I felt unconditional love and who I still adore so vividly through the memories of the time we spent together.
