Justice for Jayland Walker rally in Washington DC to mark 1 year since deadly Akron police shooting

WKYC Channel 3 As Tuesday marks one year since Jayland Walker was killed in a shooting involving Akron police amid an overnight chase, a group is scheduled to hold a “Justice for Jayland” rally at the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
“Together, we can make a difference and ensure that his story is heard,” organizers said.
After a months-long investigation into Walker’s shooting death, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced in mid April that no criminal charges would be filed against any of the eight officers involved.
