Binance chief Changpeng Zhao will step down and plead guilty to breaking criminal US anti-money laundering laws as part of a USD4 billion settlement resolving a years-long probe into the world's largest crypto exchange, prosecutors said on 21 November. Read here: https://str.sg/ixmb
Richard Teng, a Singaporean and long-time Binance executive, will take over at Binance. Mr Teng is a former director of corporate finance at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and was also chief regulatory officer at the Singapore Exchange.
