Gareth Jones was a Welsh man, who broke the news about the Holodomor to the world, by researching on his own in the Soviet-Union. He uncovered the forced famine, ordered by Stalin.
He firstly studied at the University of Aberystwyth in the "Old College". A sea-side building, that is now remodeled to bring it function to a new century.
Project manager Jim O'Rourke gave me an exclusive tour and showed me the remodelling effort and the plaque commemorating Gareth Jones.
