Im Freiland findet man Löwen oft auf Erhöhungen, von denen sie ein freies Sichtfeld besitzen. Auch diese Löwin hat sich einen erhöhten Platz in ihrer Anlage ausgesucht, auf dem sie von der Sonne beschienen wird. Sie ist entspannt und lässt sich auch nicht von der Lautstärke und den vielen Menschen, die sie anstarren, aus der Ruhe bringen. Im Gegenteil, sie weicht Blickkontakten nicht aus, sondern betrachtet mich mehrfach intensiv. Was mag in ihrem Kopf vorgehen?
