Welcome to another episode of Talkin TI with Mo and Chris! We are experimenting with a new style for the show! And this week we sit down with a special guest, Marie, who is a TI superfan from France, to 'talk TI' with her about her passion for the game, how the French play (as compared to Americans), and she shares with us some of her favorite things about the game. So break out the wine glasses, pour yourself a nice Bordeaux, and come join us at the table as we Talk TI!

Below is a list of the archetypes that Marie and her TI-playing friends have put together. Do you agree with the list? Any others that should be added?
- The Warmonger. This player is harvesting resources in the sole purpose of having a great battle, or many small skirmishes. Everything is solved through threats and dices
- The Sims player. This one is not here to wage war, but to build and explore. You recognize him or her because he/she always takes the construction card and plays in their own slice.
- The Guru. This player is the wheeler and dealer\ who gives other players what they want like resources or easy way through his territory, just to have them on his side. Whatever is your problem, he or she can help you with that, in return for a small favor that will cost you nothing, just trust them...
- The Warsun player. He or she doesn’t play the same game, they're just here to get warsuns as fast as possible and send them around the map. Sometimes he rents his services to other factions..
- The Silent one. You don’t hear them, they're not too involved in the politics, and then boom they're one or two points from winning the game. Oddly enough, they often likes to get the Politics card
- The one who doesn't care about the points. This one is peculiar: they play the game in their own way and with their own agenda that no one else gets. Not the winning type, except with a tad of luck, but they make the game much more interesting
