Guardian News The UK Covid inquiry has continued hearing evidence on pandemic resilience and preparedness.
The director of emergency preparedness and health protection at the Department of Health and Social Care, Emma Reed, and the Royal College of Nursing's professional lead on infection prevention and control, Rosemary Gallagher, are expected to give evidence.
This will be followed by the chief executive of the UK Health Security Agency, Jenny Harries.
