Sometimes, the practice of a spiritual life is not easy. Where do we start? In this high holiday prayer, which encompasses the opening and closing passages of every Amidah, we ask for the words of prayer, that our lips will be not just opened, but eloquent. I hope that this setting, recently commissioned by American composer Zina Goldrich, helps you to pray, and that it gives you the tools to deepen your spiritual life.
