Power of a Thousand Foundation | Presentation of uniforms and shoes at Onne (2) Primary Sch., Asaba

waleadenuga On Thursday, February 22, 2024, Power of a Thousand Foundation presented 165 pupils of Onne (2) Primary school, Asaba with new school uniforms. 112 of the pupils also got new shoes. The teachers were not left out. All 20 of them got backpacks.
Power of a Thousand Foundation's mission is to raise support and help with the education of underprivileged primary school kids across Nigeria.
Founded by Wale Adenuga, the foundation has provided scholarships, provided back to school resources for thousands of pupils, built toilets and a classroom and provided furniture. We have also helped to augment shortfall of teachers in two schools in Kpasho, Plateau State. This we do by helping to see to the employment of two teachers and also the payment of their salaries.
How do we raise funds? Funding is made possible by people who donate on the occasion of their birthday. Some celebrants have also organized a giving party among their friends and family on their special day.
