Prayer of Confession
Our Lord and our God, we praise you that you are love, and thank you heartily that you have graciously shown us your steadfast love small and unworthy though we be!
We confess our thoughts need your cleansing and softening, our words the shaping of your Word and the restraint of your Spirit, and our actions the readiness of our Saviour to wash the feet of one another.
We humbly request not only your forgiveness but your transforming grace, that we may display your glory more and more, remembering our Lord Jesus who did so perfectly in grace and truth. In his precious name we pray. Amen.
