In this video we take a deeper look into the very first scene of The Chosen where Mary Magdalene is introduced. Dallas Jenkins gives us insight into what Mary's life must have been like before she met Jesus. As a child she is portrayed as having sleepless nights and being afraid for no reason. Her father's words play an important role in her life reminder her not to be afraid because she belongs to God. Something she dreams about in her adult life.
