he first-ever jet suit race was held in Dubai, with eight competitors from eight countries. The competition took place over waters between Dubai Harbour and Skydive Dubai, allowing for higher speeds and enhanced safety. The suits are powered by a 1,500-horsepower engine and can reach speeds of 128km/h (80mph). The jet suit, complete with fuel, weighs 35 kilograms, with each arm carrying 6.5 kilograms. Kalfon, 22, won the race and hoisted a golden jet turbine.
