Backstory:
Kiyoko and Yato got in a fight, Yato lost the fight and got pissed, he got overly angry and broke up with Haru, haru had a mental meltdown and ended up dropping kiyoko. He went back to his house thinking that he did something wrong and that her actions were his fault. Yato explains he didn’t mean what he said and he was just upset
Video expo:
Haru feels at fault for something he hasn’t done. He expresses his feelings of trying to be forgiven by offering to take care of his wounds. Yato at first declines, but felt pity for the amount of effort Haru was putting in so he agreed.
Haru has to heal the wounds from his arm since he was stabbed and attacked there. Yato is most self conscious about this because he got neglected growing up, he would be locked up in his room as punishment oftenly. He would be hungry, wanted to go outside and deprived. When he couldn’t handle it anymore he would purposely hurt himself to get out of the situation
Yato never tended these wounds properly so they left scars.
When Haru sees this he is stunned, but doesn’t react to wildly. He just brushes it off and pays attention to his wounds from Kiyoko.
Yato is shocked but relived by this.
Haru cant stand to see Yato in this state, completely heart broken from how emotionally damaged he looked, and the amount of harm that was done to him. He truly cares about him.
There are no canon injuries yet because we have not gotten that far into this event, realistically their would be more, but we don’t have that right now.
For what I assume, since Kiyoko won the fight she fcked him up real back. Which is why Haru implies he may have to remove his (Yatos) shirt to get a better access at healing him.
Haru is extremely affectionate towards Haru
He wants to show that he really does love and care for him so the way he shows that is physical touch instead of words.
Yato gets slightly urked by him.
Haru is completely devastated by this
Haru usually never comply with what Yato says when he spews out orders and rules for him to follow as if he were some dog. But this time, since he is beyond sane he complies.
Yato is shocked by this also slightly “happy”
He feels a sense of pride having control over Haru, getting a kick out of it.
Haru tells Yato he loves him
As a “joke” Yato doesn’t say it back and humiliated him in the process. Haru doesn’t take that as something funny at all.
After Yato is done laughing he says “I’m only messing with you sweetheart!”
The whole concept of Yato calling him sweetheart goes way back, but who genuinely made it a thing was
