Senegal Galagos sind nachtaktive Primaten, die in Zoos in hochtechnisierten Nachthäusern gehalten werden. Sie sind klein und wiegen nur 200 bis 300 Gramm. Entsprechend schnell ist ihr Stoffwechsel, sodass sie besonders energiereiche Nahrung, nämlich Insekten, zur Not auch Baumsäfte, benötigen (Jarman-Bell Prinzip).
Senegal galagos are nocturnal primates that are kept in zoos in highly technical night houses. They are small and weigh only 200 to 300 grams. Their metabolism is correspondingly fast, so that they need particularly energy-rich food, namely insects, or even tree sap if necessary (Jarman-Bell principle).
