The #Artscroll Stone Edition #Tanach is my favourite Jewish version of the Hebrew #Scriptures or "#OldTestament". The #translation is literal and even carries some of the original #Hebrew syntax over, but it's also flowing and poetic. The names of people and places are written in the usual #English way and the name of #God is written "#Hashem". The notes are full of rich #traditional insights. Books are in the #Jewish order of #Torah, #Prophets, and Writings. The back has pictures, maps, and diagrams. And the #book itself is gorgeous and comes in black, maroon, white, and green, in several different sizes and formats including #digital and English-only.
