· 27.11.2023 · 01:29:40 ··· ··· Monday ·· 1 (1) WKYC Channel 3
Your Cleveland weather forecast:

By the time we get to early Monday morning, some of the lake effect snow will already be developing and targeting areas in the Snow Belts. Those areas are expected to get the most snow from this winter storm, which has led to warnings and advisories to be issued.

Lake Effect Snow Warnings have been issued for Ashtabula, Lake, and Geauga Counties. The first Lake Effect Snow Warning is for Ashtabula and Lake Counties for Ashtabula, Mentor, Jefferson, Andover, Geneva, and Eastlake beginning at 7 a.m. Monday and lasting until 7 a.m. Wednesday. Those areas can expect the highest snowfall totals between 10 to 15 inches of snow.

The second Lake Effect Snow Warning is for Geauga County from 7 p.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Wednesday for areas including Chardon, Burton, Chesterfield, and Middlefield. Since the snow through early Monday will not impact Geauga County as much, snowfall totals are adjusted lower to 6 to 11 inches by the time we get to Wednesday morning.

Finally, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Cuyahoga County from 7 p.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Wednesday for Downtown Cleveland, Parma, Solon, Westlake, Berea, Shaker Heights, and Chagrin Falls. Snow totals will generally be in the 4 to 6 inch range, with the bulk of that falling during the late night hours of Monday and into early Tuesday.
