Read below if you’re stuck in a weight loss plateau 👇🏻
First, let’s normalize plateaus.
Losing weight is physically stressful on the body.
You fight to lose weight while your body fights to stay in homeostasis.
After seeing hundreds of weight graphs over 6 years of coaching.. I can attest weight loss is never linear.
Plateaus lasting a week to even several weeks every month or two is super normal.
MAJORITY of times, breaking out of a weight loss plateau requires two things 👇🏻
1️⃣ Precision
Most dieters do a lot at 50% instead of doing the important things at 80+%
There’s a tendency with doing a lot but not going “deep” with what is being done.
For example: Instead of cutting back on calories even more.
The dieter may simply need to hit their calories more closely and see their protein target as a baseline as opposed to a range.
2️⃣ More demand
ONCE #1 is satisfied then can we add in MORE.
For example: Once we are consistently hitting 10k steps a day then can we add in 20 mins of elliptical every other day.
Keep weight loss simple so you can see more predictable results.
