J&K: Govt organises convention to revive and spread awareness on Sufism in Srinagar

ANI News The Jammu and Kashmir government organised a convention to revive and educate people about the importance of Sufism on July 27. Sufism is one of the important parts of Kashmir’s traditional history. Cluster University of Srinagar in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) organised the National Convention on Sufism: A Bridge Between Communities at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) to revive the Sufi culture and connect the young generation with their roots. The convention was headed by Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha and Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan. They highlighted the role and importance of Sufism in Islam.
