Bloomberg Quicktake: Now How does the OpenAI mess impact Musk? As one of the initial founders of OpenAI, he’s often said things the OpenAI board would likely agree with—namely that the risks of artificial intelligence are too big and the company has been moving too fast.
With the rather hurried launch of Musk’s own AI tool, any bad news for ChatGPT is arguably good news for him.
It’s not clear yet what will happen to OpenAI, but given the long history Musk has with the players, it’s hard to see him staying on the sidelines (indeed, he has been posting about the whole affair.)
