Prayer of Confession
Almighty God, how great is your wisdom, power, and love. By your word, you brought all creation to life. By your grace, you sent our Lord, Jesus, for our salvation. In Christ, we have peace with you, as well as, the promise of eternal life. Forgive us O Lord, how we tend to glorify ourselves than to glorify you. How we forget your goodness and grace when things go well, yet blame you, when things do not. Renew a right spirit within us. Strengthen our resolve to offer our minds and bodies to you as a living sacrifice. Give us perseverance in every good work. To you alone be glory forever. Amen.
