Dvořák Symphony No. 6
Randall G. Malmstrom Dvořák Symphony No. 6 in a live performance from 1974 by the Portland Youth Philharmonic (f/k/a Portland Junior Symphony) under the direction of Jacob Avshalomov, Music Director at the time. I can't locate the printed program to include a lot of detail, but I played Principal Trombone; the great Zack Spellman later of the San Francisco Opera is the tuba player; the rather prominent bass trombone part is actually played on a Bach 42B by my college friend David Nikka; I think Roger Kaza is Principal Horn; and Co-Principal Trumpets Rex Smith and Gary Guthman. I did my best to clean up the sound.
