During the Adani Group's Annual General Meeting 2023, Chairman Gautam Adani vehemently refuted the Hindenburg Research's report, claiming it to be a deliberate attempt to tarnish the conglomerate's image. He alleged that the report, containing discredited allegations dating back to 2004-2015, was orchestrated by vested interests to harm the group's reputation, coinciding with Adani Enterprises' follow-on public offer.
