In this last part on the Nature of God we study the Physical and Metaphysical Essence of God. After defining the meaning of the Physical Essence of God we look at His Metaphysical Nature according to different theological opinions offered by different schools. The opinion best found in Scripture and Tradition provides us with the best understanding on the Metaphysical Essence of God. Here we learn that God as a Subsistent being has his essence as being itself. We will look at the foundation and sources the formulate this description of God's essence and look at the meaning of subsistent being.
