We Must Surrender Our Lives to Him | The Cost of Following Christ #shorts
The second cost of following Christ is that we must surrender our lives to Him. Surrender is the cornerstone of the Christian Life. It requires us to relinquish our control, desires, and plans to follow God's Will for our lives. Jesus calls us to take up our cross and follow Him in Mark 8:34, which is a call to die to self and allow Christ to live in us, through us, and for us. We must be willing to put aside our desires, dreams, and ambitions to follow Him. We must be willing to surrender our plans, our careers, our relationships, and our possessions to Him. So, the cost of following Jesus is not an easy one.
