Plane Stowaway Takes Photo of Other Passenger's Boarding Pass

A man was arrested at Salt Lake City International Airport after he managed to board a Delta flight by using a photo he had discreetly taken of another passenger’s ticket.
Wicliff Yves Fleurizard, 26, was given a standby pass to fly on Southwest Airlines which allowed him to get past security. However, that flight was full and he was rebooked onto a later one.
Surveillance video shows him snapping a photo of another passenger’s ticket which he then used to board the Delta flight.
Once on the plane, Fleurizard headed to the lavatory where he spent a ‘significant amount of time’ as other passengers were boarding. It was only after the plane’s door was shut and the aircraft was taxiing that Fleurizard left the bathroom and flight attendants quickly realized the plane was full, and Fleurizard didn’t have a seat.
The plane was forced to return to the gate where Fleurizard was met by law enforcement. He now faces one felony charge of stowing away on a vessel or aircraft.
A complaint states that Fleurizard ‘admitted he had made a mistake and was only trying to get home.’
