SEATTLE, May 31 - Some Amazon Inc employees staged a walkout Wednesday protest the e-commerce giant's changes in climate policy, layoffs and order to return the office. More than 100 people gathered next to the glass-domed monument Spheres in the heart of Amazon's Seattle headquarters this afternoon, according to a witness. "Emissions are climbing. The group sang hymns. "Stay together, don't turn back!" More than 1,900 employees have pledged to protest worldwide, according to organizers, an activist group known as Amazon Employees Climate Justice .
